NEW McLAREN 675LT Spyder LHD

McLAREN 675LT Spyder

675LT02New 2016 McLaren 675LT Spyder, due for delivery November 2016. Specification yet to be optioned so you can choose your colours and extras to suit your taste. Rare and desirable, this spyder version is one of only 500 cars being built for worldwide sale. Pictured above is the press release car.

The McLaren 675LT was launched at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and is the first modern McLaren to wear the LT (’Longtail’) badge. It takes inspiration from the McLaren F1 GTR ‘Longtail’ that debuted during the 1997 race season. According to McLaren, ‘focus on outright performance, weight reduction, and ultimate levels of driver engagement’ define a ‘Longtail’. Embodying the ‘Longtail’ ethos, McLaren have focused on reducing the weight, optimizing aerodynamics and increasing downforce to generate more performance on the track just as with the original ‘Longtail’ F1 GTR.

675LT03McLaren’s aim with the 675LT was to create the most track-focused road legal model in the Super Series. To achieve this, McLaren reduced the weight by 100 kg to 1,230 kg through an increased use of carbon fibre and lighter components. With a newly developed M838TL 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the 675LT achieves a top speed of 330 km/h, sprinting from 0–100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.9 seconds.

675LT06The 675LT is fitted with adjustable settings for both Handling and Power train though the Active Dynamics Panel rotary switches. The Sport and Track settings are uniquely calibrated to the 675T with the track experience in mind.

675LT05The car has been designed with a focus on track use and features P1-inspired carbon fibre gearshift paddles mounted on a rocker behind the steering wheel.

In December the 675LT was joined by a Spider variant. Both Coupé and Spider guises were limited to only 500 units globally.

Honda | NR750 1993 – NOW SOLD

1993 Honda NR750 oval piston superbike

1993 HONDA NR750, first registered in September 1993 with only two owners from new and just 660 miles. Properly serviced and maintained regardless of cost.

6585123

This is a FULL POWER 93KW ( 126bhp )model. The Honda NR (New Racing) was a V-four motorcycle engine series started by Honda in 1979 with the 500cc NR500 Grand Prix racer that used oval pistons. This was followed during the 1980s by a 750cc endurance racer version known as the NR750. The oval piston concept allowed for eight valves per cylinder which generated more power due to the increased air/fuel mixture throughput and compression.

6585137In 1992 Honda produced around 300 street versions of this 750cc model, the NR , with a 90-degree V angle. Whereas the NR500 had used an oval piston with straight sides, the road going NR750 used an eliptical piston with curved long sides. The bike became the most expensive production bike at the time when it was selling for $50,000 and with the rarity, nowadays they rarely change hands. This example is in perfect collector’s condition. Comes with all documents, books and tools.

1990 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 2

The Porsche 964 is the company’s internal name for the Porsche 911 manufactured and sold between 1989 and 1994. Designed by Benjamin Dimson through January 1986, it featured significant styling revisions over previous 911 models, most prominently the more integrated bumpers. It was the first generation 911 to be offered with Porsche’s optional Tiptronic automatic transmission and four wheel drive as options.

The 964 was considered to be 85% new as compared to its predecessor, the Carrera 3.2. The first 964s available in 1989 were four wheel drive equipped “Carrera 4” models; Porsche added the rear wheel drive Carrera 2 variant to the range in 1990. Both variants were available as a coupe, targa or cabriolet. The 964 Carrera was the last generation sold with the traditional removable Targa roof. A new naturally aspirated engine called the M64 was used for 964 models, with a flat six displacement of 3.6 litres. Porsche substantially revised the suspension, replacing torsion bars with coil springs and shock absorbers. Power steering and ABS brakes were added to the 911 for the first time; both were standard. The exterior bumpers and fog lamps became flush with the car for better aerodynamics. A new electric rear spoiler raised at speeds above 50 mph (80 km/h) and lowered down flush with the rear engine lid at lower speeds or at rest. A revised interior featured standard dual airbags beginning in 1990. A new automatic climate control system provided improved heating and cooling. Revised instrumentation housed a large set of warning lights that were tied into the car’s central warning system, alerting the driver to a possible problem or malfunction.

Top speed: 163 mph (261 km/h), 159 mph (256 km/h) (Tiptronic)
