Celebrating 20 years since their victory in the 1995 24h Le Mans win, McLaren announced that they would resurrect the GTR name by launching a track-only version of the P1, the P1 GTR.
The P1 GTR was made available to the 375 P1 owners only, and the production was limited to 35 units. The concept car made its debut at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August 2014. The P1 GTR production model was officially unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show The GTR variant is priced at GB£1.9 million. This price includes a worldwide owners trackday series; later P1 GTRs were offered for less money, approximately $1.7 million, for those P1 owners who had no interest in the track series but still wanted to purchase the GTR variant.
McLaren states that this is the most powerful McLaren to date, with an intended power output of 987 bhp (1,000 PS, 735 kW). The car will also feature slick tyres, and have greater levels of performance, grip, aerodynamics and downforce in comparison to the road car. Featuring a new fixed ride height on race-prepared suspension, a fixed rear wing capable of using DRS, and a new exclusively designed exhaust, McLaren aims to deliver the ultimate track experience.
This limited edition went in to production in 2015, after all 375 standard P1’s were built, as homage to its race-winning ancestor, the iconic F1 GTR.
The P1 GTR hybrid engine aims at producing 1,000 PS (987 bhp); 84 bhp over the current model, although McLaren did not disclose whether the power increase is from electrical boost or tuning the twin turbo 3.8-litre V8. Performance figures are unconfirmed. P1 GTR weight was reduced by 50 kg and deliver power-to-weight ratio of 687 bhp per tonne.
The P1 GTR can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.4 seconds, with the top speed at 225 mph (362 km/h), brake from 60 mph to 0 in 85 ft, and corners at 1.54 G.

The full name is Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE. The AM-RB 001, code named the Nebula and now given the name Valkyrie is the new Aston Martin $3 million 2-seater hypercar.The AM in its name stands for Aston Martinand the RB stands for Red Bull. The hypercar is a product of collaboration between Aston martin and Red Bull Racing to create a car entirely usable and enjoyable as a road car. The car’s makers claim the title of fastest street-legal car in the world for it. The design was helped by Adrian Newey, Red Bull Racing’s Chief Technical Officer and the world’s most successful F1 designer.

Although the details of the car are still unclear, it will have a naturally aspirated v12 engine and will have some sort of hybridization; possibly a Formula 1 style hybrid system. It will reportedly have 1 horsepower for every kilogram and is expected to weigh about 2,300 pounds.
Everything is made of carbon fiber and there is not a single steel component in its entire structure. It is rumored to have around 1000 horsepower on tap to go with a 10,000 rpm rev limit and a 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds or less. Revealed at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show on March 1, the Porsche 911R RHD shares most of its underpinnings with the GT3 RS, but removes the rollcage, rear wing, and associated bodywork for a weight savings of 50 kg. The Porsche 911R comes only with a 6-speed manual transmission, and has a top speed of 201 mph due to a lower drag coefficient compared to the GT3 RS. It also offers additional options for a lighter flywheel and removal of the air conditioning and audio systems. Production will be limited to 991 examples, starting as a 2017 model.

The McLaren 675LT was launched at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and is the first modern McLaren to wear the LT (’Longtail’) badge. It takes inspiration from the McLaren F1 GTR ‘Longtail’ that debuted during the 1997 race season. According to McLaren, ‘focus on outright performance, weight reduction, and ultimate levels of driver engagement’ define a ‘Longtail’. Embodying the ‘Longtail’ ethos, McLaren have focused on reducing the weight, optimizing aerodynamics and increasing downforce to generate more performance on the track just as with the original ‘Longtail’ F1 GTR.
McLaren’s aim with the 675LT was to create the most track-focused road legal model in the Super Series. To achieve this, McLaren reduced the weight by 100 kg to 1,230 kg through an increased use of carbon fibre and lighter components. With a newly developed M838TL 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the 675LT achieves a top speed of 330 km/h, sprinting from 0–100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.9 seconds.
The 675LT is fitted with adjustable settings for both Handling and Power train though the Active Dynamics Panel rotary switches. The Sport and Track settings are uniquely calibrated to the 675T with the track experience in mind.
The car has been designed with a focus on track use and features P1-inspired carbon fibre gearshift paddles mounted on a rocker behind the steering wheel.
In December the 675LT was joined by a Spider variant. Both Coupé and Spider guises were limited to only 500 units globally.

Ferrari revealed a lightweight, track-focused version of the F12 berlinetta in October 2015 of which 799 units will be produced. The name pays homage to the Tour de France car race between 1899 and 1986 and which was regularly won by Ferrari 250 between 1956 and 1964. The F12 TdF has the same 6.3L V12 engine as the standard car, but it now puts out 780 PS (574 kW; 769 hp) and 705 N·m (520 lb·ft). It also weighs 110 kg (243 lb) less than the standard F12, so the dry weight stands at 1,415 kg (3,120 lb). The F12 TdF can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 7.9 seconds. The top speed is ‘in excess of 211 mph (340 km/h)’. The car has lapped Ferrari’s Fiorano test circuit in 1 minute 21 seconds, 2 seconds faster than the standard F12 Berlinetta and 488GTB, and just 1.3 seconds behind the fastest lap set by the LaFerrari. The Porsche 911 GT3RS is a high performance version of the Porsche 911 sports car primarily intended for racing. It is from a line of high-performance models, which began with the 1973 911 Carrera RS. The GT3 is named after the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) Group GT3 class in which it was designed to compete.
A number of variations, designed for road and track duty, have been introduced since its launch in 1999. More than 14,000 911 GT3 cars have been produced.
The GT3 has had a successful racing career in the one-make national Porsche Carrera Cup series, and the international Porsche Supercup. It has won championship and endurance races, including the GT class of the American Le Mans series seven times, first overall in the 24hrs Daytona, and first overall at the 24 hrs Nurburgring six times.
The 997 GT3 RS was released in Europe in October 2006 and in North America in spring 2007.
The 997 GT3 RS is 20 kg (44 lb) lighter than the 997 GT3, weighing in at 1,375 kg (3,031 lb). This weight-saving was achieved by the use of an adjustable carbon fiber wing, a plastic engine cover, and a lightweight plastic rear window. The weight savings gives the 997 GT3 RS corresponding engine power to curb weight ratio of 300 bhp (220 kW) per tonne.
The body of the 997 GT3 RS is 44 mm (1.7 in) wider at the rear than the 997 GT3 (a legacy from the Carrera 4 models with which it shares its shell). The muscular-looking rear end conceals a wider track that not only improves directional stability but also increases the potential cornering grip. However, drag is increased and top speed reduced. In addition to the new technology, the paint scheme and body panels are all designed specifically for this car. For the RS version, the limited edition orange colour was mixed specially for this car.
The American version of the 997 GT3 RS has a standard rear window (not plexiglas) and the smaller 911 fuel tank to comply with rules of SCCA, Grand-Am, and IMSA. For Grand-Am races, the central locking wheel nut is replaced with the standard five-lug pattern required under Grand-Am rules.
Production of the first generation 997 GT3 RS (997.1 GT3 RS ) ended in 2009. An estimated 1,909 vehicles were delivered worldwide, with an estimated 413 of those directed to the United States.
For 2010, the second generation 911 GT3 RS (known as 997.2 GT3 RS received an additional 35 PS (26 kW; 35 hp) due to a new 3.8-liter flat-six, bringing total power output up to 450 PS (331 kW; 444 hp). This car was not approved for competition in the United States by IMSA American Le Mans. Grand-Am originally did not approve the car, but after performance issues (a Porsche team did not compete at the Indy Grand Prix of Alabama round), Grand-Am approved the second-generation car in April 2010.
Fith Gear carried out a road test on the 997 911 GT3 RS which highlighted the exceptional performance of the car.
Porsche test driver Walter Rohrl had intended to enter the 2010 24hrs Nurburgring on a standard road legal 911 GT3 RS, but had to withdraw due to health reasons from the team that comprised racers Roland Asch and Patrick Simon, plus journalists Horst von Saurma and Chris Harris. The car, entered in cooperation with Sport Auto Germany, is registered as S-GO 2400, and was driven from Weissach to Nürburg. The RS was modified according to safety requirements, which included a larger roll cage and fire extinguisher. As no race tyres were available for 19″ rims, the 18″ wheels of the Cup racers were used. Asch qualified with 9:15, 42nd overall, and 9th among the 17 SP7 class entrants, only beaten by its race-prepped Porsche 997 siblings. In an otherwise disappointing race for Porsche, with the best race 997 finishing only 6th, the road legal car did 145 laps, only 9 less than the winning BMW, for place 13. It supposedly had to cover another 306 km, on the Autobahn back home

The Pagani Huayra was officially debuted online with many pictures in a press release on January 25, 2011. The official world debut was at the Geneva Auto Salon 2011 in March. It is the successor to the Pagani Zonda. It is named Huayra after the Incan god of wind. Pagani expects to build no more than 40 Huayras each year. The engine is a M158 twin-turbo 6.0 Litre V12 from Mercedes’ AMG division producing 720 horsepower (537 kW) and 1,000 N·m (740 lb·ft) of torque.

The Huayra’s main body is made from carbotanium ; a composition of carbon fiber and titanium, thus it is reasonably lightweight. The Huayra has been redesigned from the ground up, but shares many visual qualities with the outgoing Zonda. The top speed has gone up from the 220 mph (350 km/h) (set by the Zonda F Roadster) to 235 mph (378 km/h), and the 0–100 km/h time is 3.2 seconds. When the car was driven round the Top Gear test track by The Stig it set a lap time of 1:13.8, making it the fastest road car round the track.

This limited edition went in to production in 2015, after all 375 standard P1’s were built, as homage to its race-winning ancestor, the iconic F1 GTR.
The P1 GTR can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.4 seconds, with the top speed at 225 mph (362 km/h), brake from 60 mph to 0 in 85 ft, and corners at 1.54 G.
