The McLaren P15 Senna is a limited-production mid engine supercar sportscar manufactured by McLaren Automotive,. The car is the latest addition to the McLaren Ultimate Series, joining the F1 and the P1; however, it is not a direct successor to either of those cars. It was revealed to the world online by the company on December 10, 2017, with the official debut taking place at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Production will be limited to 500 units, with each car hand-built at the McLaren production centre in Woking. The car pays tribute to the late F1 driver Ayrton Senna and his accomplishments with the company’s Formula One Team, ( back in the days when F1 had some characters and they actually raced each other : )
Specifications
McLaren’s main focus, while designing the Senna was to achieve faster lap times. In order to do so, McLaren developed a lightweight design that incorporated many aerodynamic elements.
The McLaren P15 Senna is largely based on the McLaren 720S, using a modified version of its carbon fibre monocoque and twin-turbocharged engine. The Senna is powered by an uprated version of the 720S’ 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 dubbed the M840TR. It uses a seven-speed dual clutch transmission that delivers all 800 PS (588 kW; 789 hp) and 590 lb⋅ft (800 N⋅m) to the rear wheels. Unlike the previous offering in the Ultimate Series, the P1, the Senna does not use an electric motor in favour of its low dry weight of 1,198 kg (2,641 lb), which allows for a power to weight ratio of 658 hp (491 kW; 667 PS) per ton. Seriously powerful.
Carbon fibre aerodynamic pieces constitute the car, with a large double-element rear wing, double-element diffuser, F1 -inspired roof scoop, front and side air intakes, rear air louvres, and large front fenders. Inside a panel beside the intakes is a small set of mini-canards. Areas of low pressure are accompanied using high-performance radiators. The car uses dihedral doors, like the other previous models in the Ultimate Series, and also has optional windows applied on the lower area of its doors.
The Senna uses a brand-new generation of Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, containing a new compound that has three and a half times better thermal conductivity than before, making the brakes smaller and lighter. It also features a new set of central-locking alloy wheels designed for Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R tires. Its central design is a new generation of McLaren’s monocoque named MonoCage III, which contributes to the car’s dry weight. The interior largely comprised of exposed carbon fibre, with seats that can be upholstered in alcantara or leather, depending on the customer’s preference. Behind the two seats is room large enough for two helmets and race suits, noting the car’s minimalist and track focused design. The car utilises McLaren’s hydraulic RaceActive Chassis Control II (RCC II) suspension along with double-wishbone control arms.
Performance statistics
In February 2018, McLaren released the full performance statistics of the track-oriented McLaren P15 Senna model:
0–62 mph (0–100 km/h): 2.2 seconds.
0–124 mph (0–200 km/h): 6.8 seconds.
0–186 mph (0–299 km/h): 17.5 seconds.
Standing quarter-mile: 9.9 seconds.
Power-to-weight ratio: 659 hp/tonne.
Top speed: 211 mph (340 km/h) (redline limited).
Production
Every car will be hand-built at the McLaren facility in Woking, UK. with a production run of just 500 units, all of which are already sold. The McLaren Senna is listed at the price of £750,000 ($837,000) with the final car auctioned at a price of £1,916,793 ($2,670,000). Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2018.

SPECIFICATION
In May 2008, Aston Martin announced many new technological updates for the Vantage, which included many changes to the engine, transmission, suspension and appearance. New cylinder liners that were now pressed into the aluminium block instead of the original cast-in variants allow a thinner liner, which in turn allows a larger capacity of 4.7 L. The cylinder bore and stroke has been increased from 89 mm (3.5 in) to 91 mm (3.6 in) and 86 mm (3.4 in) to 91 mm (3.6 in) respectively, giving a total displacement of 4735 cc. The dry sump lubrication system was also performance modified.
SPORTSHIFT
The “Sportshift” semi automatic transmission benefited from an intelligent software update, while a lightened flywheel was introduced for both the manual and the Sportshift. Aston Martin also stiffened the suspension and now uses uprated Bilstein dampers. An optional sports pack is being offered with stiffer springs, tighter handling, and all-new 5-spoke alloy wheels. Sportshift-equipped models also receive a new electronic dual throttle mapping update which allows the driver to choose from the default sport mode, or comfort mode, which gives more comfortable gear shifts and throttle input for much improved driveability.
UPDATES
New wheels are also part of the Aston Martin Vantage V8 update including a 20-spoke alloy wheel and a new 5-spoke aluminium wheel for the highly desirable sport pack. The interior has been changed slightly, using an updated console similar to the Aston Martin DBS and the DB9.
The update provides the Vantage with 420 bhp (310 kW) (an 11% increase) and delivers peak torque of 470 N⋅m (350 lb⋅ft) (a 15% increase), providing the car with additional reserves of mid-range performance and an improved top speed. Combined European fuel economy and CO2 emissions are also improved by 13% on the Sportshift, so faster, more economical, more comfortable to drive but still remains the British gentleman’s express with enviable style and subtlety. Added to the above is a much better gear change up and down the gearbox.

The Porsche 911 GT3RS is a high performance version of the Porsche 911 sports car primarily intended for racing. It is from a line of high-performance models, which began with the 1973 911 Carrera RS. The GT3 is named after the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) Group GT3 class in which it was designed to compete.
A number of variations, designed for road and track duty, have been introduced since its launch in 1999. More than 14,000 911 GT3 cars have been produced.
The GT3 has had a successful racing career in the one-make national Porsche Carrera Cup series, and the international Porsche Supercup. It has won championship and endurance races, including the GT class of the American Le Mans series seven times, first overall in the 24hrs Daytona, and first overall at the 24 hrs Nurburgring six times.
The 997 GT3 RS was released in Europe in October 2006 and in North America in spring 2007.
The 997 GT3 RS is 20 kg (44 lb) lighter than the 997 GT3, weighing in at 1,375 kg (3,031 lb). This weight-saving was achieved by the use of an adjustable carbon fiber wing, a plastic engine cover, and a lightweight plastic rear window. The weight savings gives the 997 GT3 RS corresponding engine power to curb weight ratio of 300 bhp (220 kW) per tonne.
The body of the 997 GT3 RS is 44 mm (1.7 in) wider at the rear than the 997 GT3 (a legacy from the Carrera 4 models with which it shares its shell). The muscular-looking rear end conceals a wider track that not only improves directional stability but also increases the potential cornering grip. However, drag is increased and top speed reduced. In addition to the new technology, the paint scheme and body panels are all designed specifically for this car. For the RS version, the limited edition orange colour was mixed specially for this car.
The American version of the 997 GT3 RS has a standard rear window (not plexiglas) and the smaller 911 fuel tank to comply with rules of SCCA, Grand-Am, and IMSA. For Grand-Am races, the central locking wheel nut is replaced with the standard five-lug pattern required under Grand-Am rules.
Production of the first generation 997 GT3 RS (997.1 GT3 RS ) ended in 2009. An estimated 1,909 vehicles were delivered worldwide, with an estimated 413 of those directed to the United States.
For 2010, the second generation 911 GT3 RS (known as 997.2 GT3 RS received an additional 35 PS (26 kW; 35 hp) due to a new 3.8-liter flat-six, bringing total power output up to 450 PS (331 kW; 444 hp). This car was not approved for competition in the United States by IMSA American Le Mans. Grand-Am originally did not approve the car, but after performance issues (a Porsche team did not compete at the Indy Grand Prix of Alabama round), Grand-Am approved the second-generation car in April 2010.
Fith Gear carried out a road test on the 997 911 GT3 RS which highlighted the exceptional performance of the car.
Porsche test driver Walter Rohrl had intended to enter the 2010 24hrs Nurburgring on a standard road legal 911 GT3 RS, but had to withdraw due to health reasons from the team that comprised racers Roland Asch and Patrick Simon, plus journalists Horst von Saurma and Chris Harris. The car, entered in cooperation with Sport Auto Germany, is registered as S-GO 2400, and was driven from Weissach to Nürburg. The RS was modified according to safety requirements, which included a larger roll cage and fire extinguisher. As no race tyres were available for 19″ rims, the 18″ wheels of the Cup racers were used. Asch qualified with 9:15, 42nd overall, and 9th among the 17 SP7 class entrants, only beaten by its race-prepped Porsche 997 siblings. In an otherwise disappointing race for Porsche, with the best race 997 finishing only 6th, the road legal car did 145 laps, only 9 less than the winning BMW, for place 13. It supposedly had to cover another 306 km, on the Autobahn back home

The Porsche 964 is the company’s internal name for the Porsche 911 manufactured and sold between 1989 and 1994. Designed by Benjamin Dimson through January 1986, it featured significant styling revisions over previous 911 models, most prominently the more integrated bumpers. It was the first generation 911 to be offered with Porsche’s optional Tiptronic automatic transmission and four wheel drive as options.
The 964 was considered to be 85% new as compared to its predecessor, the Carrera 3.2. The first 964s available in 1989 were four wheel drive equipped “Carrera 4” models; Porsche added the rear wheel drive Carrera 2 variant to the range in 1990. Both variants were available as a coupe, targa or cabriolet. The 964 Carrera was the last generation sold with the traditional removable Targa roof. A new naturally aspirated engine called the M64 was used for 964 models, with a flat six displacement of 3.6 litres. Porsche substantially revised the suspension, replacing torsion bars with coil springs and shock absorbers. Power steering and ABS brakes were added to the 911 for the first time; both were standard. The exterior bumpers and fog lamps became flush with the car for better aerodynamics. A new electric rear spoiler raised at speeds above 50 mph (80 km/h) and lowered down flush with the rear engine lid at lower speeds or at rest. A revised interior featured standard dual airbags beginning in 1990. A new automatic climate control system provided improved heating and cooling. Revised instrumentation housed a large set of warning lights that were tied into the car’s central warning system, alerting the driver to a possible problem or malfunction.
Top speed: 163 mph (261 km/h), 159 mph (256 km/h) (Tiptronic)
0-60 mph: 5.5 s (manual transmission), 6.2 s (Tiptronic)
1/4 mile: 13.6 s (C2), 14.0 s (Tiptronic), 14.1 s (C4)
Drag coefficient: 0.32
Fuel consumption approx 24 mpg
